Concannon Merlot, Livermore Valley

Our conservancy wines help protect California vineyard land from urban development. Growers of these wines have placed their land into a trust that preserves against development forever. Established 1883 in the Livermore Valley. Roots. Rocks. Intrigue. My Great-Grandfather, James Concannon began handcrafting outstanding wines in 1883. Merlot was first planted in California in the 1860s. Our cool climate in the Livermore Valley provides an outstanding growing region allowing these grapes to ripen to their potential, creating flavorful vintages year after year. By placing vineyards into conservancy it ensures wines will continue to be crafted for future generations. We believe preservation of vineyard and agricultural lands protects our quality of life. Our Conservancy Merlot is medium-bodied, rich with flavors of blueberry pie. This food friendly wine pairs with a variety of foods including pizzas and hamburgers. Enjoy a glass and be part of the legacy! - John Concannon. Alc 13.5% by vol.
