Merlot was first planted in California in the 1860s. Our cool climate in the Livermore Valley provides an outstanding growing region allowing these grapes to ripen to their potential, creating flavorful vintages year after year. By placing vineyards into conservancy it ensures wines will continue to be crafted for future generations. We believe preservation of vineyard and agricultural lands protects our quality of life.
